Spartan Path ("we", "us", or "the app") is a gamified screen-time tracker. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. We have designed Spartan Path to keep your data on your device wherever possible.

Information We Collect

• Screen-time and progress data. The daily screen-time figures you log, along with your in-game progress (shields, levels, coins, gems, equipped gear, and streaks), are stored locally on your device. We do not require an account, and this data is not transmitted to or stored on our servers.
• Field-log journal entries. When you use the optional "field log" feature, the reflective text you submit is sent to our server and forwarded to a third-party AI provider (Anthropic) solely to generate a score and feedback for that entry. We do not retain this text on our servers after the response is returned, and we do not use it to build a profile of you.
• Subscription status. Purchases and subscription status are processed by Apple, Google, and our payments provider (RevenueCat). We receive an anonymized indication of whether an active subscription (entitlement) exists. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
• Diagnostic data. Our server may log basic, non-identifying request metadata (such as timestamps and request paths) to operate and secure the service.

What We Do Not Collect

We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, precise location, or advertising identifiers, and we do not sell your personal information.

How We Use Information

• To provide core functionality (tracking screen time and progression on your device).
• To generate AI feedback on field-log entries you choose to submit.
• To verify subscription entitlements so paid features unlock correctly.
• To maintain the security, reliability, and performance of the service.

Third-Party Services

Spartan Path relies on the following third parties, each governed by its own privacy policy:

• Apple App Store / Google Play — purchase and subscription processing.
• RevenueCat — subscription management and entitlement verification.
• Anthropic — AI scoring of field-log entries you submit.

Data Retention

On-device data persists until you delete the app or clear its data. Field-log text is processed transiently and is not retained on our servers after a response is generated.

Children's Privacy

Spartan Path is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your Choices

Because your gameplay data lives on your device, you can remove it at any time by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple or Google account settings.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
